Merge PDFs

    How merging works

Files are combined in the order you see. Use the ↑ and ↓ buttons to reorder them before merging. The merged file keeps every page, in the original page size and quality.

Large files: a very large PDF can be slow on an old phone. If the tab becomes unresponsive, close it and try with fewer files at a time.

Pages from encrypted or damaged PDFs cannot be copied. The tool will tell you which file caused the problem.

      Range syntax

      3Just page 3
      1-4Pages 1, 2, 3 and 4
      1-2,5,8-10Pages 1, 2, 5, 8, 9 and 10

Split every page creates one file per page and a download button for each.

      Is my document safe?

The PDF library runs inside this page. Your files are read with the browser’s File API and the result is created in memory, then saved with a normal download. No network request carries your document — you can confirm this in your browser’s network tab, or simply switch off the internet after the page loads and keep working.

Nothing is stored between visits: closing the tab discards the files.

      Questions people ask

Will the merged PDF lose quality?

No. Pages are copied as they are, so text stays selectable and images keep their original resolution.

Can I merge PDFs that are locked?

A PDF with an open password cannot be read without the password. Remove the password first, then merge. Files with only permission restrictions usually work.

How many files can I merge at once?

There is no fixed limit, but memory is shared with the browser. Dozens of normal documents are fine; very large scanned files are limited by the memory of your device.

      Does it work on mobile?

Yes, in current Chrome, Edge, Safari and Firefox. On Android and iOS you can pick files from Downloads or cloud storage.
