This policy explains what happens to information when you use aitools.afrroze.com (the “site”). In short: the tools themselves run on your device and never send your numbers or files to us. The site does use cookies from our advertising partners, and this page explains how to control them.

1. Information the tools do not collect

Every calculator on this site — Zakat, Hijri date conversion, invoice totals — and every file tool — PDF merge and split, QR code generation — runs with JavaScript inside your browser. Your inputs are held in the page’s memory, not sent to a server.

  • There is no upload endpoint. Files selected in the PDF tool are read locally and never transmitted.
  • Invoices and QR codes you create are not stored on our servers and are not visible to us.
  • Closing or reloading the tab discards the values you entered.

The only data kept on your device by the site itself is a single local preference recording that you dismissed the cookie notice. It is stored in your browser’s localStorage under the name afrroze_tools_consent and contains no personal information. You can delete it at any time through your browser settings.

2. Information our hosting provider records

Like every website, this site is served by a hosting provider, which processes standard request data in order to deliver pages and protect the server. This typically includes your IP address, the page requested, the time of the request, the referring page and your browser’s user-agent string. We use this information only in aggregate to keep the site online and to detect abuse. We do not combine it with anything you type into a tool, because we never receive what you type.

3. Cookies and advertising

The site may display advertising supplied by third parties, including Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.

  • Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
  • Google uses the DoubleClick cookie or similar technologies to serve advertising to users based on their visits across the web.
  • You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of a third-party vendor’s use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info.
  • If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, ad personalisation is offered only with your consent, collected through a consent message when required.

Advertising cookies are set by the ad network, not by the tools. Blocking them does not affect the functioning of any calculator or file tool on this site.

4. Analytics

At the time of publication this site does not run its own analytics script. The hosting provider supplies aggregate traffic counts that do not identify individual visitors. If a third-party analytics service is added later, this policy will be updated before it is enabled.

5. Third-party links

Guides may link to external resources, such as a calendar authority or a browser help page. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their content or their handling of your data.

6. Children

The site is a general-audience utility site and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the tools do not transmit input, no personal information from a child is received by us in any case.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data held about you, to object to processing, or to withdraw consent to personalised advertising. We hold no personal data about individual users beyond standard server logs, so most requests are best addressed to the advertising network that set the cookie. To limit interest-based advertising in general, you can:

  • clear or block third-party cookies in your browser settings;
  • use your browser’s private or incognito mode;
  • use Google’s Ads Settings page linked above;
  • use the “Do Not Track” or global privacy control available in some browsers.

8. Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Because no user data is stored on the server, there is no database of user inputs to breach. If you email us, your message is stored in the email provider’s inbox for as long as needed to answer it.

9. Changes to this policy

If the way the site handles data changes — for example if a newsletter or an analytics service is added — this page will be updated and the date at the top will change. Significant changes will also be noted on the home page while they are new.
